45 stars for effect, 4 stars for ingredients
By Jamie Righter
I bought this as a hair treatment, and for an occasional fix, it is excellent. I give it 5 stars for taming frizzy hair, being easy to use and smelling great. I keep this on hand for quick fixes, when I'm going out and want my hair to look (and smell!) great. Perfect for that. However, I would not use it after every shampoo, as it builds up on your hair. But if you use it after every shampoo, I recommend using B00099E8ZA once a week to remove all residue. This will truly clean your hair and you can use the Moroccan oil regularly and not have the problems other reviewers have mentioned, and get the great benefits.

Back to Moroccan oil. Like I said, 5 stars (and more if I could) for the great effect it has on your hair. Will continue to use it. I take away a star, because, like other reviewers, I'm not impressed with the ingredients. I like natural ingredients, and if you say a product is Moroccan oil, than that should be the first ingredient. I use a product for skin care Bel Essence - (2oz) 100% All-Natural, Organic Anti-Wrinkle Oil Treatment with Argan, Grapeseed and Avocado Oil, and discovered after several months, that my eyelashes were longer and fuller, and my eyebrows were growing in better. It's 5 plant oils (including organic argan oil) - that's all, no other ingredients, all natural. I gave myself an oil treatment on my hair with it, just to try it out let sit for 15 minutes and then shampooed as usual, and my hair was noticeably softer. I do this once a week or so to see what it will do for my hair. This is the best skin care - slow change over a couple of months, but after about a week, your skin isn't dry, and stays moisturized, after a couple of months, your skin is soft, lines are less noticeable.

3Eh...It's not exactly fabulous.
By Nicole
I am a hair product junkie and this just didn't quite give me a fix. It's basically Frizz-ease with some added Argan oil. I was expected a higher concentration of the Argan oil, but it's 5th on the list of ingredients - a fair amount, but not for what you are paying. (the top 5 ingredients of any item are basically what make the product) If something is going to be called 'Moroccan Oil', you'd expect it to be just that, right?

It's very smoothing (hence the silcones at the top of the list of ingredients). Silicones will build on the hair and will eventually have to be stripped with a detoxing shampoo to remove the build-up. I have virgin naturally curly bi-racial hair with a fine texture (think R&B singer Mya). Silicone build-up on curly hair can be the devil so curlies beware. The smell is not too bad. Kind of musky. Just glad that I purchased through Amazon and got a great deal (50% of the normal price).

All in all, it Will suffice for a quick fix for minor frizz, but definitely not a 'treatment'. For that, I highly recommend Eden Allure. They have 100% pure Argan oil available and it doubles as skin care. (not affiliated-just a lover of natural products) Speaking of which, Moroccal oil has color additives (D&C Yellow 11 and Red 17).

1Do not buy, fake product
By rachel
This is a total fake. It arrived in a saturated box because the bottle leaked. The bottle looks totally different from real Morrocian oil. Different labels, no seal on the cap and on top of that it smells like perfume and is totally gross. I did some research and Moroccianoil only sells to salons to prevent imposters like this. I requested a refund from the seller, she offered a partial refund. Not acceptable. I contacted Amazon and they gave me a full refund. I also reported this person to Moroccianoil directly.
